Obituary of Kathleen D. Steffey

Steffey, Kathleen D.(Gorman), 64, New Florence passed away April 14, 2015 at home. Born December 4, 1950 in Johnstown the daughter of late Thomas B. Gorman and Margaret (Boring) Gorman, New Florence. In addition to her father she is also preceded in death by Brother Thomas E. Gorman and Father-in-law Harry W. Steffey, Sr. In addition to her mother she is also survived by her husband of 40 years Benjamin Dwight Steffey; Son Curtis Steffey and wife Melissa (Boring), Lexington, SC; grandchildren Jennah and Curtis Steffey, Jr.; Mother-in-law Eunice I. Steffey, Lexington, SC. Kathy was a member at Holy Family Catholic Church, and of O.E.S. Former office manager / head cashier of Bilo Market, Seward and was a notary for 30 years, a relief rural mail carrier and worked for the former Super Oil Co., in Seward. She enjoyed traveling with her Bilo co-workers and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Friends received 7-9 PM Thursday and 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 10 AM Saturday with Rev. Robert Washko officiating. Internment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
