Obituary of Joan B. Wagner

Joan (Betts) Wagner, 73, New Florence died Saturday September 12, 2015 unexpectedly at home. She was born December 17, 1941 in Johnstown the daughter of late James N. and Alma Fay (Bowser) Betts. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by husband Robert B. Wagner who died in 1991and brother Marlin Betts. Survived by beloved daughter Robin Wagner and beloved son James A. Wagner, both of New Florence; brother Edward Betts, Glenwood, Ill.; sisters Cynthia Jane Arford, Robinson; Lois (Tom) Helsel, Johnstown; Anna Grace Langsdale, North Ridgeville, OH; step-mother June (Hancock) Betts, New Alexandria; and several nieces and nephews. Retired LPN from Torrance State Hosp., who enjoyed caring for her family and her fur-babies. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 am Wednesday. Pastor Kimberly Sisitki officiating. Private interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
