Obituary of Clarence F. Johns

Johns, Clarence F., 78, New Florence passed away January 23, 2016 at home. Born September 8, 1937 in W. Wheatfield Twp. the son of late Frank A. and Blanche Irene (Rodkey) Johns. Also preceded by brothers George and Fred Johns and sister Alverda "Jump" Stiffler. Survived by wife of 56 years Dolores (Revie) Johns; children Harry Johns and wife Becky, Indiana; Ruth Johns, New Florence; Steve Johns and wife Karen, Danville, VA; Roy Johns and wife Tiffany, Martinsburg, WV; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Clarence was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed model cars and tractors along with attending car shows and gun bashes. He was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church and retired employee of Penn DOT who most of all enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Friends received 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 am Thursday. Pastor Valerie Mize officiating. Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mount Tabor United Methodist Church.
