Obituary of Melinda J Ault

Melinda Jean (McCully) Ault, 62, Armagh went home to be with the Lord August 30, 2016 after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family. She was born May 12, 1954 in Indiana. She is survived her husband of 45 years Timothy A. Ault and her 5 children Deana R. (Robert) McLaughlin, Armagh; Timothy J. (Holly) Ault, Blairsville; Chad H. (Lee Ann) Ault, Robinson; Jamie L. (Ryan) Barber, Armagh; and Josh R. (Erin) Ault, Robinson. "Memaw" to 10 grandchildren, Amanda (Mike) Walbeck; Abbigail and Derrick McLaughlin; Zac and Nick Pecze; Helena Ault; Shane King and Chase Barber and Landon and Hayden Ault. Also a great- granddaughter Emma Jean Walbeck. Melinda was a member of the graduating class of 1972 from United High School and graduate from Cambria Rowe Business College. She was also a member of the Armagh United Methodist Church and a member of the church choir. She also served as secretary until 2014. Her church was her passion and her faith very strong. She volunteered at the church every chance she had, whether she was cutting the lawn or making crafts with the kids during vacation bible school. She loved her church family very much. She loved to knit & crochet as well as paint. Melinda was a beautiful soul and a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Melinda is also survived by her father, John McCully Sr., Brush Valley. Brothers and sister John McCully, Jr., Homer City; Richard (Alberta) McCully, Homer City; Leslie Bellman, Homer City; Michael McCully; sister-in-law Janie (McCully) Short, Armagh; brothers-in-law John Brown, Clymer and Michael (Jill) Ault, along with several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by mother Martha (McCoy) McCully; brother Gregory L. McCully, Sr. and sister Virginia E. (McCully) Brown. The family will receive friends 2 – 8 PM Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh. Funeral service will be 1 PM Thursday at Armagh United Methodist Church, 570 W. Philadelphia St., Armagh. Rev. Jim Miller and Rev. John Flower co-officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery. The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to Conemaugh Hospice for their support and guidance over the past weeks. As well as a dear friend Rev. John E. Flower.
