Obituary of Elmer S. Frain

Elmer S. Frain, 86, of Robinson, died Wednesday Aug. 7, 1996 at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Johnstown. Mr. Frain was born Oct. 16, 1909 in West Wheatfield Twp., Indiana County son of the late William A. and Iva May Kelly Frain. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel and the Conemaugh and Black Lick Railroad and was a watchmaker. He also was a member of the Robinson Evangelical United Methodist Church. Survivors include children Elmer S. Jr., Robinson, Ralph and his wife Wanda, Bossier City, LA., Martha I. Doepfer, Johnstown and Mrs. Wilbert (Nellie) Short, Blairsville RD 3; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; Also surviving is his sister Mary Etta Baird, Blairsville RD 3. He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian L. Rager Frain; brothers Roy Ray, Norman Leroy, John, Edward, George, Ralph and Vincent; his sister Mary Luker. Retired from Bethlehem Steel, member of Robinson Meth. Church. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Robinson EUM Church, Rev. Dwayne Burfield officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, West Wheatfield Twp.
