Obituary of Lewis S. Boske

Boske, Lewis S., 76, Bolivar, passed away March 14, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. Born September 16, 1940 in Bolivar the son of the late John and Caroline (Gregorich) Boske. Also, preceded in death by these brothers and sister John Boske, Caroline Garland and William Boske; great-granddaughter MacKenzie Bowman; nephew Jeffrey Lynn Garland. Survived by wife Joanne (Wick) Boske; daughter Heather Boske, Bolivar; step-sons Danny Robertson and fiancé Gail Carney, Bolivar; Jamey Robertson and wife Debi, Indiana and step-daughter Susan Vanden Heuvel and husband Tommy, Appleton, Wis; grandchildren Jessica Robertson Bowman, Brady Robertson and wife Michelle, Carly Vanden Heuvel, D.J. Vanden Heuvel; great-grandchildren Ashleigh and Logan Bowman; Austin and Averie Robertson; sister Barbara Crawford, Cooper City, Fla; brother Eddie Boske and wife Marilyn, Perry, MI; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Lew was a barber and proud owner of Lew's Barber Shop for almost 60 years, he also retired from Auto Parts Inc., in Blairsville. Lew enjoyed playing the lottery, walking around Bolivar and socializing with the people in his barber shop and around town. Friends received 3-7 PM Thursday and 9 am till time of service 10 am Friday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence. Rev. Robert Washko officiating.
