Obituary of Louise A Cengia

Louise Ann (Mroczka) Cengia, 90, Armagh passed away January 25, 2025, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born December 5, 1934, in Armagh, the daughter of late John and Josephine (Kaminski) Mroczka.  Also preceded in death by loving husband of 46 years Aldo Cengia; she was the last surviving member in her family of eleven.  Going before were brothers and sisters Frank, Catherine Janoski, Sophie Theys, Joseph, John, Walter, Stanley, Edward, Helen Helenic and Henry.

 

Survived by these children James R., husband of Monica Schroeder, Centerville, OH; Dr. Dennis K. husband of Pamela Bytheway, Greensburg, PA; and Mark J. at home; and grandchildren Dr. Brent husband of Dr. Maribeth Dionisio, Lewisville, NC; Michael, Lakewood, CO; Gail wife of Michael Danneman, Waltman, MA; Suzanne wife of Greg Gillespie, Round Hill, VA; Timothy and Douglas, Arvada, CO; and great-grandchildren Sophie, Isabel, Madilynn, Noah, Anthony, Liam, Owen, and Madison.  Numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Louise was a life member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, PA.  She worked early in her life at Glosser Bros., and Bestform prior to starting a family.  She was a wonderful stay at home wife, mom, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved God and her entire family very much.  She faithfully prayed the rosary daily and nightly.

 

Friends received 4-8 pm Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh.  Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church 425 Bridge St., Seward.  Rev. Fr. John Harrold officiating.  Interment Armagh Cemetery
