Obituary of Lysle B. McClellan, Jr.

Lysle B. McClellan, Jr., 73, Bolivar passed away February 19, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital.  Born October 29, 1951, in Johnstown the son of the late Lysle B., Sr., and Lydia (Balabouchina) McClellan.  Also preceded in death by wife Patty (Shetler) McClellan, grandson Andrew Garland, and brother Mike McClellan.

Survived by children Renae (Larry) Blasco, New Alexandria; Brian (Tracy) McClellan, Robinson; Amy (Noel) Lickenfelt, Bolivar; Lori (P-nut) Garland, Robinson.  Grandchildren Brittany “Kiddo” (Carl) Selesky, Breanna Lickenfelt, Cyrena (Mark) Scribe, Hunter McClellan, Tyler (Ashley) Crawford, John (Melissa) Blasco, Darla (Frank) Lickenfelt, Courtnee Garland, Bailey Garland.  Greatgrandchildren Michael, Maria, Isabella, Keira, Ryder, Mia, Mylie, and Jack.  Brother of Mary C. Austin, of Reedsville; Susan Mack (Donnie Hicks), Bolivar; Jim (Kathleen) McClellan, Bolivar.

Lysle enjoyed buying lottery tickets, driving trucks, and his cat Baby George.  He really cared about his close friends and family.  Lysle was a hard worker and was employed by L&D Trucking.   He lived a good life and lived it how he wanted.  He would advise those around him to “never get excited”.

Friends received 3-6 pm Sunday and 11 am till time of service 1 pm Monday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence.   Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to charity of one’s choice.  Online condolences may be made at www.thestuartfuneralhomes.com
