Obituary of Carole V St. Clair
In Loving Memory of a Beloved Mother
It is with profound sorrow that we announce that Carole V. St. Clair, 80, Robinson passed away May 6, 2025, in Newport News, VA. With a heart filled with love, compassion, and unwavering strength, she touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Life Dedicated to Family
Born April 1, 1945, in Johnstown the daughter of Harry C. and Nella Rose (Smith) Kerr. Also preceded in death by husband Warren Curtis “Curt” St. Clair, twin granddaughters Tara and Heather and sisters Nellie Rose and Sandra Jean.
Survived by daughters Melody Sprague and husband Jeffrey, Seaford, VA; Sherry Cramer and husband Raymond, Robinson; Noel Wolf and husband Donald Antonini, Pittsburgh; grandchildren Tom Sprague, Wendy Sprague, Chris Sprague, Erica (Josh) Spencer, Madeline Wolf, Anya Wolf, and 12 great-grandchildren, Peyton, Erin, Joshua, Ryan, Katrina, Nicholaas, Sylvia, Estella, Joscelyn, Cameron, Nicole, and Brooke and 2 great-great grandchildren. Her laughter was the music that brightened our days, and her wisdom guided us through life’s challenges.
Carole was a member of Robinson Methodist Church, a retired employee of Torrance State Hospital, who enjoyed crafting, arranging flowers, and most of all spending time with her family. She also volunteered her time to support fundraising activities in her hometown. During her stay in Virginia, she enjoyed her community’s Bingo activities.
Carole and Curt loved traveling together During their 25 years of marriage. They visited Las Vegas, Tennessee, Florida, and Kentucky, to name a few travel adventures. Carole’s favorite place to travel was Las Vegas because she enjoyed all the live shows.
The legacy of Carole StClair is one of resilience and generosity. She taught her family the value of hard work and the beauty of living with a grateful heart. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to have been part of her life. We will all carry her with us always, in our hearts and in our actions.
Friends received Sunday 5-7 pm. at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence.
Viewing at Robinson Methodist Church, Mary Street Robinson Monday 12:00 - 1:30 with services at 1:30. Rev. Scott Hamley officiating. Private interment Penn View-Mount Tabor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, an organization close to Carole’s heart.
