Obituary of Joseph F. Arcurio

Arcurio, Joseph F. (94) of Homer City passed away on May 12, 2025, at Rebekah Manor.  Born on Sept. 2, 1930.  Son of Peter and Mary (Marsico) Arcurio.  Preceded death by parents and daughter Lori Margic, grandson Joshua McClosky; Brothers Leo, Peter Jr., Alfred and Eugene Arcurio, Sisters Darlene Anderson and Mary Lou Zambanini.  Survived by wife Mary Lou (Walls) Arcurio, and children Debra De La Cruz of FL., Mark Arcurio and Gary Arcurio of Seward, Lisa Arcurio of Homer City, Joseph Jr. of Brush Valley.  Granddaughters; Christi Stutzman, Heather Moyer, Brittany Arcurio, Lisa Abrahams; Grandsons; Mark Arcurio Jr., Vincent Arcurio and Richard De La Cruz.  23 Great Grandchildren. Brother Fred Aultman of Pa. Sisters Janet Ivinskas of Ohio and Helen LoSada of North Carolina. 

Joe was in the US Navy from 1948 to 1952.  He served on the USCGC Edisto AGB-2 during the Korean War.  He helped keep the northern trade routes open.  He also served on the USS Nipmuc ATF-157.  He was a hard worker wherever he was employed at and retired from Johnstown America in 1996.  After retirement he spent most of his time with his wife, she was the love of his life!  He was an avid golfer and was very good at it.  He loved taking care of himself, you would see him out walking all the time.  He loved his family and loved telling us how to drive, when he was riding with us!  He will be greatly missed by us all.  Until we meet again Joe Joe, much love and kisses!
