Obituary of Robert E. Clark

Clark, Robert “Bob” “Sox” E., 90, Armagh, passed away June 6, 2025, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

Born July 22, 1934, Armagh, son of the late Grace E. (Grasser) and Robert A. Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Helen L. (Urban) and son Robert J. Clark.

Survived by children Terri Thomas and husband, Ronald; Peggy Graham and husband, John, both of Homer City; and Gayle Buck and husband Dave, of Johnstown; four grandchildren, Carly Krouse (Derek), Mitchell Thomas, David Buck (Laura Barron), and Kayla Phillips (Sean); four great-grandchildren; Chase, Conway and Tensley Krouse, and Cole Phillips; brother George Clark and sister Helen McCachren; and “other daughter” Kimberly Fatula.

Bob was a devoted husband of 60 years and a loving and lively father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He graduated from United Joint High School in 1952. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown, and worked at Trader Horn, Indiana, in his retirement where he was greatly adored by customers and coworkers.

He was a member of Acacia Lodge #355 F&AM and Coudersport Consistory. He most enjoyed gardening, mowing his grass, working on the daily newspaper crossword puzzle and spending time with family. And though he was known as “Pap” and “Big Pap” to his grandchildren, he was a pappy to everyone in his life.

Bob was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where a celebration of life service will be held June 14 at 11 a.m.; 6810 US-22, New Florence, PA 15944; officiated by Pastor Allyn Itterly. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements in the care of Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, Armagh.
