Obituary of Holly N. Gross
Holly Noel Gross, 51, of Latrobe Passed away June 28, 2025. Born December 21, 1973, in Johnstown, PA, the daughter of Linda (Davis) Norman and husband Alan, Bedford, IN, and Bill Gross, Oakland, MD.
Holly is survived by her brother and best friend Joshua Gross, Ligonier. Holly had a daughter Morgan Grease, Autin, TX. She is also survived by serval aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Walter “Buss” and Gertrude Davis, paternal grandparents George and Helen Gross, Aunt Gladys Gross, Aunt Sandy Hull, Cousin Stephen Brown, and various pets. Holly was comforted in knowing that she would soon be reunited with her cat Ninna.
Holly was a 1992 graduate of Laurel Valley H.S. and a 1996 graduate of St. Vincent College. Holly worked as an Adjudicator for the Department of Social Security Disability.
Holly loved all animals. She spent much of her free time volunteering at HEAL Animal Rescue Farm Sanctuary, Latrobe. Holly has recently been taking horseback riding lessons. Holly was also a nature lover. She loved her walks and hikes though the woods. Holly had a huge personality and beautiful smile; her laugh was infectious and contagious.
While in high school Holly had the opportunity to travel to Europe and the United Kingdom. Seeing the castles was the highlight of her trips.
Holly’s legacy is to live life to the fullest. Enjoy every moment and make the most of your time. Holly was grateful for all the opportunities she had been given. Travel, meeting new people, experience other cultures. Holly had a curious nature and learning new things was very important to her.
At Holly’s request there will be no public viewing or service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
