Obituary of William H. Simpson

William H. “Bill” Simpson, 77, New Florence passed away January 6, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 19, 1942 in Fairfield Twp. the son of the late of late James R. and Beatrice M. (Perry) Simpson. Also preceded in death by wife Sharon “Sherry” Simpson, brother Robert J. Simpson, and sisters Ruth Luther and Betty Bates. Survived by wife Nancy Simpson; daughters Lisa Waeyaert and husband Tim, Hagerstown; Teresa West and husband Jim, Ligonier; grandchildren Kayla Schrieber & husband E.J.; Jerad West and wife Ashley; Ryan Bracken; Lacie Witmer and wife Chrissy; Shea Moser; great-grandchildren: Caleb Bracken, Wyatt Gordon, Calissa Bracken, Addison Witmer, Alexander Schrieber, Kaidence Schrieber, Arabella Schrieber, Ryleigh West, and Lukas West. Bill enjoyed wood working and farming. He served in the US Navy and retired from Florence Mining Co. He is known for his continuous humor and cowboy boots. At Bill’s request there will be no public viewing or memorial service held.
