Obituary of Ethel M. Frampton

Ethel Marie Frampton, 91, West Bolivar, went home to be with the Lord, July 30, 2023, at home.  Born October 18, 1931, in Bolivar, the daughter of the late William “Mack” and Goldie (Wambaugh) James.  Also preceded in death by husband Lesley M. Frampton, Daughter Gloria Elam, brothers Harold, William, and Ronald James; sisters Hazel Shomo, Betty Sisitki, and infant sister Catherine James.

Survived by daughters Diane Frampton, Bolivar, and Sharon Frampton, Ligonier, granddaughters, Leah Duncan and husband Christopher and Tyla Cesario, great-grandson Christopher “JR” Duncan, sister Donna Gibson, brother Robert James, son-in-law Roger Elam, Iowa; and her fur baby Otis.

Ethel was a faithful member of Bolivar Church of Christ; she enjoyed reading her bible and her flower garden.  She was known for her special smile and hugs, and for her special cards that she would send to those that needed encouragement.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to her special niece “My Pammy” a Conemaugh Regional Hospice for the love and care Ethel received.

Friends received 3-7 PM Friday, at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, 10 am till time service 11 AM Saturday, at Bolivar Church of Christ, Shomo Street, Bolivar, PA.  Ray Lee officiating. Interment Fort Palmer Cemetery.
