Obituary of James H Yarnal, Jr.

James Harry Simon Yarnal, Jr. “Petey”, 54, Homer City, passed away April 13, 2024, at St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana.  Born February 28, 1970, in Indiana, the son of the late James H. S. Yarnal, Sr. “Pete” and Shirley L. (Cramer) Yarnal. 

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by paternal grandparents James G. Yarnal & Rebecca (Taylor) Yarnal, maternal grandparents Harry E. Cramer & Alice Jennetta (Heming) Cramer.  Sister April Lynn Yarnal. brother Kenneth Arthur Yarnal, Sr.; aunts Joyce Ann (Cramer) Wagner and husband Dave; Sarah (Yarnal) Silvis; Betty Yarnal.  Uncles Arthur W. Cramer, Kenneth A. Cramer, Sr.; John R. Cramer & wife Donna J. (Yoder); Charles Ryan. Cousin Kenneth A. Cramer, Jr. and great-nephew Remington Yarnal.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by nieces Krista Marie (Yarnal) Chain and husband Mike, and April Lynn Yarnal; nephew Kenneth Arthur Yarnal, Jr.; great nephew Mikey Chain and great nieces Scarlett Beth Yarnal, and Cora Ruth Ann Yarnal.

Petey enjoyed watching wrestling, Walker Texas Range, SpongeBob and Scooby Doo.  He loved spending time with his nieces and nephew and he was always excited to get dollar bills no matter how small the amount was.
