Obituary of Jean Patterson

Patterson, Jean, 82, Seward, passed away April 21, 2017 at home. Born July 8, 1934 in St. Clair Twp., the daughter of the late Loreto and Romaine (Ambrose) Colananni. Also, preceded in death by brother James Colananni; son-in-law William Makowski. Survived by husband of almost 63 years Arnold "Jake" Patterson; daughter Linda Makowski, Seward; grandson Reed Ludwig and wife Sarah, Mesa, AZ; great-grandson Cooper Ludwig. Jean retired from the Seward Post Office, she was a 30-year member of the Seward Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Aux. and served on the Seward Boro Election Board for many years. Friends received 6-8 pm Monday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11 am Tuesday, Pastor Joseph Walls officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
