Obituary of Harry E. McKinney

McKinney, Harry E., 84, New Florence died June 2, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 30, 1932 in W. Wheatfield Twp., son of the late William and Thelma (Shirley) McKinney. In addition to his parents, he also is preceded in death by twin brother Harold, brothers, George, Paul, Clifford, Sherman "Billy" and John Ronald McKinney; and sisters, Vivian "Betty" Shaftic; Mary Burkley and Irene McKinney. Survived by wife of 60 years Beatrice (Henderson) McKinney; children Charlotte McKinney Mytrysak; Wade McKinney and wife Christine; Dave McKinney and wife Angela; Ron McKinney; Connie (McKinney) Sabella and husband Charles; grandchildren Jason, Erik, David and Brianna Mytrysak; Randy, Justin (Amelia), Bryan McKinney; Megan (Ben) Spera; Amber and Ashlyn Sabella; great-grandchildren Ethan Bendel; Willow "Skye" McKinney; Cullen Hinson; sisters Sondra; Nancy Silk, and Sally Gademsey. Numerous nieces and nephews. Retired from Florence #2 Mine and a member of UMWA. Veteran of US Army and US Air Force. In honor of Harry's memory and his generous spirit we kindly ask in lieu of flowers that the money be used instead to "Pay-it-Forward" to someone else in need. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11 AM Tuesday. Wayne Boring officiating.
