Payne, Alvin Leslie Sr., 81, Lockport died April 1, 2012 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born October 27, 1930 in Lockport the son of late Alvin M. and Amy M. (Muir) Payne. Survived by wife Mary E. (Bundy) Payne; children Dennis J. Payne and Harriet; Alvin L. "Slug" Payne Jr. and Maryann; Randolph L. Payne and Jan, all of New Florence; Tamera C. Payne, Robinson; step-children Tom Miller and Renee, Hollsopple; Maryann Penrose, New Florence; Charles Miller and Vanessa, Windber; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; sisters Jean M. Burkett, Tucson, AZ; Shirly McKinney, Robinson; brother Boyd T. Payne, Blairsville; Samuel Payne, Lockport; sister-in-laws Linda Bundy, Lockport; Sharen Leglue, French Settlement, LA. Retired employee of Allegheny Foundry with over 40 years of service and member of United Steel Workers. Friends received 2-4 & 7-9 pm Wednesday at Kenneth A.
