Obituary of Mervin Charles Hill

Hill, Mervin Charles, 85, of Charles died June 29, 2012 at home peacefully with his wife at his side. Born April 13, 1927, in Sagmore, the son of late Charles A. and Mary (Kalwolski) Hill. Also preceded in death by brothers John and Harry Hill and sisters Susan Zar and Annabelle Lassick. Survived by loving wife of 63 years Eva (Berezansky) Hill; children Melanie Hill, Seward; Laura Stublarec and husband Mark, Youngstown, OH; Annette Blough, Charles; Kathleen Hill and special friend Glenn, Paramus, NJ; Leonard Aaron Hill, Fort Lauderdale, Fla; Valerie Goddard and wife Tracey, Easton, Mass; grandchildren Mark Stublarec Jr, Youngstown, OH; Ian Stublarec, Washington, DC; Jesse Blough, Seward; Anjanet Meyers and husband Josh, of Seanor; Ryan Goddard and Dean Goddard, both Easton, Mass; great-grandchildren Zayne, Devin and Kylea Jenkinson and Mia Bella Meyers; brother of Ollie Mae Santucci, Italy; Dorothy Thompson, Blairsville; Benjamin Edward Hill, Latrobe and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Teamster Union Local 110 where he was a past officer for 8 years and UMWA Local 838 where he was an officer for 12 years. Life member of Seward VFW Post 7022. US Navy Veteran of WWII. Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Sunday and Monday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where blessing service will be held 11 am Tuesday. Rev. Bernard Karmanocky, O.F.M. Interment Armagh Cemetery. Military rite by local veteran's organization. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Marvin will be sadly missed by his family.
