Obituary of James E. Troska

Troska, James E., 81, Cramer died August 26, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 8, 1930 in Cramer the son of late Leo F. and Hattie (Ressler) Troska. Also preceded in death by brother William Troska. Survived by wife of almost 60 years Margaret (Strushensky) Troska; daughters Donna Mitchell and husband Greg, Blairsville; Patricia Ayad and fianc Charles O'Shell Jr; Bonnie Henry and husband Mark, all of New Florence; grandchildren Brian Henry and wife Kristin (Parker); Eric Henry and wife Megan (Cooper); Zakariah Ayad; great-grandchildren Abigail, Cole and Olive Henry; several nieces and nephews. James was a retired employee of Conemaugh Generating Station, US Navy Veteran of Korean War, member of American Legion and Greater Jackson Twp. Sportsman Assn. where he enjoyed trap shooting, and an avid hunter and fisherman who was accomplished at tying his own flies. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was always there for his family in a time of need. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Tuesday at the Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be 11 am Wednesday, Rev. Ruth A. Moore officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery. Military rite by local veterans organization. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Heart Assoc. or American Lung Assoc.
