Obituary of Olive Joy Howard

Olive Joy Younkin Howard, 90, Robindale Heights, passed away October 13, 2012 at Beacon Ridge. Born August 30, 1922 in London England the daughter of the late Charles Thomas and Ethel Mae (Lack) Arnett. Also preceded in death by first husband Warren Dewey Younkin; second husband Willard J. Howard, Sr.; step-son Willard J. Howard, Jr.; granddaughter Coleen Dawn Younkin; Sister Ethel Frances Arnett; Dolly Glover and Lily Twell; brothers Harry and John Arnett. Survived by children Sheila Marie Berezansky and husband Dennis, Seward; Randy John Younkin, Warren, OH; and Kerry Warren Younkin, Kennewick, WA; grandchildren Kevin Berezansky and wife Kelly; Deneen Peters and husband Chris; Tressa Alter and husband Thomas; Heather Muhl and husband David; Brian Howard and wife Joanne; 11 great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren. Joy was a member of the Robindale Union Church where she had sung, played piano and thought Sunday School. She was also a former Scout Den Mother. She also performed with Madame Alexander's School of Dance in London England in 1937 and active in Cambria County M.S. Society where she was a past patient of the year award recipient. Joy was known for her gracious heart and giving nature. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday At Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, PA 15920, where service will be held 11 am Wednesday. Rev Norman C. Kaufman officiating. Internment will be immediately follow the service at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
