Obituary of Margaret Hope Lamb
Margaret H. “Peg” Lamb, 96, Armagh, went home to be with the Lord February 27, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Born February 12, 1923 in Barnesboro the daughter of the late John O. and Osia P. (Keith) Anderson.
Also, preceded in death by husband Henry Clayton Lamb, whom she married November 5, 1944, son Thomas Clyde Lamb, grandson Jon P. Lamb. Brothers Stewart, John, William and Robert Anderson. Sisters Althia Good and Virginia Woodside.Survived by sons, Clayton Lamb, Armagh, Gerald Lamb (Beth), Seward; Jeffrey Lamb (Bernadette), New Florence; James Lamb (Cindy), Dilltown; Steven Lamb (Beverly), Connellsville, 10 Grandchildren; 13 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great great-granddaughter. Sisters Christina Hicks, Ohio and Susan Vargo, Delaware.
Peg was employed at Spangler Shirt factory and Bestform. She was a member of Armagh United Methodist Church and Conemaugh Valley Beagle Club Women’s Aux. She was an avid reader and loved her life and family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and wonderful memories of a woman of faith who showed kindness and love to all she met.
Friends received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be 11 AM Saturday. Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Interment McDowell Cemetery.
