Obituary of William Michael Kelly

Kelly, William M., 81, Seward, passed away March 13, 2019.  Born August 17, 1937 in Johnstown son of the late Michael W. and Freda (Ludwig) Kelly and John P. and Hazel (Stutzman) Donahue who raised him due to the untimely death of his mother shortly after he was born.  Also preceded in death by sister Kathryn and her husband Clarence “Bucky” Rummel; brother John Donahue who died while serving his country; sister-in-law Natalie and her husband Pete Lightbody; sister-in-law Helen “Cookie” Saula.  Survived by loving wife of 54 years Mary (Saula) Kelly; sons Michael Kelly and wife Lynn (Brudnak), Seward; and Matthew Kelly and wife Amy (Boring), Huntsville, AL; grandchildren Connor, Emily and Nicholas Kelly; sisters Carol Ford, Maryland; and Marsha Kelly, Johnstown; brothers-in-law Mitch Saula, Johnstown; and Nick Saula and wife Emma, Seward; niece Kathy Flickinger, Florida; nephew Danny Rummel, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. 

Bill was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Seward, and also attended St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, member of Boilermakers Local #154, Pittsburgh.  He enjoyed watching sports especially football and playing golf.  He adored and loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He was known as Uncle Bill to his own family and to his extended family.

Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Bridge Street, Seward.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be to Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Bridge St., Seward; St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 1001 St. Clair Rd., Johnstown, or a charity of one’s choice.  Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  Online condolences may be left at www.thestuartfuneralhomes.com
