Obituary of Francis J Alberter
Francis, Alberter, 92, Armagh passed away January 10, 2013 at home. Born July 26, 1920 in Johnstown the son of late Joseph and Harriet Alberter. Also preceded in death by son William Alberter; granddaughter Sharon Ogert; great-grandchildren Kevin, Kenneth and Chyenne Ogert; sisters Esther Grachen and Goldie Rayner. Survived by wife of 65 years Shirley (Allison) Alberter; daughters Cheryl Wieromiej, Bobbi Rohrabaugh and husband Bruce, Beth Zack and husband Richard; daughter-in-law Cathy Alberter; grandchildren Tracy Huss and husband Bill, Misty Huber and husband Eric, Ethan Danforth, Donna Zack; great-grandchildren Bryce, Mariah and Brady Huss; Carson and Kendra Huber; sisters Ethel Bombatch, Betty Jo Ashcom, Jean Mora, Darla Rummel. Bud was a U.S. Army WWII veteran having served in the Pacific Theater; a retired 40 year employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp, Axle Plant member of Bethel United Presbyterian Church, Clyde; Ropers View Horseshoe Club ; Armagh Senior Citizens and New Florence Senior Fellowship. Former member of United Area Lions Club. Bud loved all animals and enjoyed his family, woodworking, hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him especially his dog Petro. Friends received 2-8 pm Sunday at Richard C. Stuart F.H., 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh and 10:30 am till time of Service 11:30 am Monday at Bethel United Presbyterian Church, 1354 Bethel Cemetery Rd, New Florence with Pastor James Sunseri officiating.
