Obituary of Frank A. Rummel

Frank A. “Reset” Rummel, 87, Cramer, passed away June 11, 2013, at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born December 24, 1925, in New Florence, son of the late John W and Olive V. (Medsger) Rummel. Also preceded in death by wife Nancy (Bach) Rummel, who died in 2006, brothers Ernest and Clarence “Bucky” Rummel, sisters Viola Bernabo, Margaret Funk and Mildred Mack. Survived by children Ronald Rummel, and wife, Madeline, Pittsfield; Janet Diehl, Monroeville; Beverly Mrosky, and husband, Jim, Armagh; Maxine Toth, and husband, Bob, Homer City; grandchildren Scott and Chad Rummel, Tonya Kelly, Tom and David Diehl, Nicole Cerminara and Natalie Toth; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold Rummel, Maryland, and Robert Rummel, Georgia. Special thanks to “bam-Bam”, Lonnie and “Scrappy Joe” for their friendship to Frank. Former owner/operator of Rummel’s Oil Burner Sales and Service, member of Ligonier Lodge #331 F&AM, and US Navy veteran of WWII. Friends received 1 pm till time of service 3 pm Friday at Richard C Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, PA 15920. Interment at Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to Beacon Day Care, 1515 Wayne Ave., Indiana, PA 15701.
