Obituary of Danny B. Penrose

Danny Penrose, 64, New Florence passed away May 2, 2021 at home.  Born September 18, 1956 in Johnstown the son of late Ernest Penrose, Sr. and Helen (Lickenfelt) Penrose Anderson.  Also preceded in death by sister Linda (Penrose) Sisitki, brother Chris Penrose and step-father Ray Anderson.

Survived by wife Cindy (Barbus) Penrose, children Lynde Boring and husband Jeff, New Florence; Brian Penrose and wife Chasity, McClellandtown; grandchildren Austin Boring, Allyssa Boring, BellaRose Penrose and Gabriella Penrose; brothers Armour Penrose and wife Pat, Johnstown; Ernest Penrose and wife Rose, New Florence; sister Michele (Anderson) Yaworski and husband Michael, Robinson; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Danny was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed long range shooting in benchrest competitions, playing lottery scratch off tickets and PA Skill Games.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Friends received 2-8 pm Thursday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where his life will be celebrated 11 am Friday.
