Obituary of Jack Mroczka

 

John “Jack” Mroczka, 70, Armagh, passed away at home on May 4, 2021. Born August 30, 1950 in Johnstown, the son of the late John and Dorothy (Gorman) Mroczka.  Also preceded in death by brother-in-law Kenneth Clark.

Survived by loving wife of 51 years Rhonda (Shomo) Mroczka, daughters Tanya McMunn and husband Chuck, Heather Mroczka and Shauna Carns and husband Tim. Grandchildren Ashlee McMunn, Olivia McMunn, Tyler Mroczka, Christian Carns, Lauryn Carns. Sister Marilyn Clark.

 

Jack enjoyed art, metal working and woodworking, being outside and hiking in the woods.  He was a retired coal miner and a member of UMWA Local 1619.  Jack was a loving husband, father and pappy and will be greatly missed.

 

Prayers with the family will be held at 9:15 am Saturday with Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Bridge Street, Seward.  Rev. Ft. William Lechnar officiating.  Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
