Obituary of Virginia R. Jones

Virginia R. Jones, 80, Seward, passed away June 4, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born December 4, 1940, in Johnstown the daughter of the late Lloyd H. Berkey, Sr. and Clara E. (Smay) Berkey.  Also preceded in death by husband Thomas E. Jones, Jr. Brothers Lloyd Jr.; Harry and James Berkey. Sisters Dorothy Fetzer, Shirley Jean Dostal, Helene Roland,

Survived by children Michael Jones and wife Michele, Seward; Deneen Ault & husband Timothy, Johnstown.  Grandchildren Kaitlin Horne, Kelsey Jones, Meranda Resides and husband Ian, Brooke Ault and Paul Nathaniel, Samantha Kuhns, and Christopher Gray.  Great-grandchildren Savanah and Amelia Gray.  Sisters Roberta Rock and Becky Reed.  Also, her best buddy, her feline companion Donny.

Virginia was co-owner of the former Roadway Auto in Seward with her late husband Tom.  She also enjoyed concerts at the Roxbury Band Shell and going to craft shows.  Virginia’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of Virginia's wonderful care givers.

Services will be private. Interment Berkley Hills Cemetery.  Arrangements in care of Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, Armagh.
