Obituary of James Steven Shomo

James Steven Shomo, 65, Lockport, passed away August 26, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital, Latrobe.  Born July 30, 1956 in Johnstown the son of James R. Shomo and Goldie E. (Kentz) Shomo.  Preceded in death by father and brother Michael Shomo.

Survived by mother of Lockport, siblings Karen King, Timothy W. Shomo, Richard L. Shomo, Gary A. Shomo; 6 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 great-nieces, 4 great-nephews.

Steve is a retired custodian for Ligonier Valley School District and worked at Allegheny Foundry for 27 years.  Enjoyed collecting antiques especially old vehicles.

 At Steve’s request there will be no public visitation or service.  Private interment Fairfield Cemetery.  Arrangements in care of Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral home, New Florence.
