Obituary of Blair Leroy Crusan

Blair L. Crusan, 87, Bolivar passed away February 2, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.  Born April 15, 1934, in Bolivar the son of late Harmon Henry and Nellie Orpha (Wynn) Crusan.

Also preceded in death by brothers James, Willard, Earl, Johnny, and Clarence Crusan; sisters Orpha Kinzey and Esther Arford.

Survived by wife of 58 years Dorothy Jean (Garland) Crusan, children Leroy Crusan and wife Ruth, Blairsville; Becky Andrasick and husband Fred, New Florence; Ruth Baird, Ligonier; David Crusan and wife Ruth, Latrobe; grandchildren Valerie Blond, Denise Crusan, Charlene Baird, Amanda Welc, Cody Freedman, Meghan Crusan, and Johnny Crusan; 5 great-grandchildren; Sister Ethel Emmerson, Armagh.

Blair enjoyed working, especially building and household improvements.  He would refer to himself as a “Jack of all trades, master of none”.  Blair was a former deacon at First Church of Christ in Bolivar and an avid hunter.
