Obituary of Alice I. Antonio

Alice I. “Cookie” Antonio, 90, Bolivar went home to join her loved ones and the Lord on August 16, 2022, at Bethlen Home, Ligonier.  Born May 15, 1932, in West Bolivar, the daughter of the late Delbert and Rilla (Krause) Treasure.  Also preceded in death by husband of 71 years Rudolph “Rudy” Antonio; brothers Blair, Glenn, James, and Hayes Treasure. 

Survived by children Debbie Antonio, Greensburg; Kathy Flickinger, Ligonier; and Richard Antonio, New Florence; grandchildren Nicholas Flickinger and Alicia Jo Downing; Great-grandchildren Rudy and Josephine Flickinger and Emma Downing. Sister Janet Donahue, Greensburg.

Cookie was a member of First Church of Christ, West Bolivar and was a member of the choir. She enjoyed walking and loved the time she got to spend with her grandchildren.  She will long be remembered by many as her smile touch almost everyone’s life as she watched a community of children grow up us as she worked at the Laurel Valley High School and Elementary schools in the cafeteria.  She would decorate for each holiday and have candy for each holiday.  She also enjoyed playing Scrabble.

Friends received from 1pm till time of service 3pm Thursday at First Church of Christ, 3041 Route 259, Bolivar.  Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.  Arrangements in care of Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence.
