Mom, your love and support throughout my life was unwavering. While we grew up with limited means, your love was always enough. You helped guide me in a direction that allowed me to become the person that I am today. I never wanted anything more than for you to be proud of my accomplishments. I will continue to cherish the fond memories and how you provided for us, supported us, chauffeured us to endless activities as kids: little league baseball games, scouts, school events and summer trips to visit Pap, Nana, Uncle Dennis, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Cliff. I will always remember your baking(lemon meringue pie, gobs, pumpkin rolls), walking us to the bus stop each day, the first bike you bought me, helping me get my drivers permit and license and offering me life lessons in your own way. You were there for me in so many pivotal moments of my life: communion. high school graduation, college graduation. More recently, you travelled all the way to Portland Oregon to be there for me when I had brain surgery. Thank you for everything mom.I wish I would have visited more often and done so much more for you in return for all of the sacrifices that you made for me when I was younger. May you rest in peace. I hope that one day we will have a chance to meet again. I love you mom and will miss you.

“My Dearest Mother- May We Meet Again ”
In the silence of memories, I find your embrace,
A hug of recollections, where time can't erase.
You've journeyed beyond, leaving love as your trace,
Mother, the beacon in my life's vast space.
You cradled me gently in life's tender start,
Guiding, protecting, an art you did impart.
Your wisdom and laughter, forever a part
Of the tapestry woven deep in my heart.
In the kitchen's warmth, your love was a feast,
With limited means, you created a banquet, not least.
Your tenacity and laughter, never ceased,
A legacy of love, from the greatest to the least.
On fields and stages, your cheers led the way,
Guiding me through life's complex play.
In prom nights and heartaches, you'd always say,
"Life's about growing, in every way."
Your hands, though worn, crafted lessons so grand,
Sewing, cooking, a loving command.
In every stitch and spoonful, a guiding hand,
Teaching resilience, helping me understand.
Grandchildren's laughter echoed your joy,
Your love and lessons, their favorite toy.
In their hearts, you're more than a mere envoy;
You're a universe of love, endless and coy.
I hope, dear mother, I've made you proud,
Your laughter and strength, a perpetual cloud.
Covering me with love, a protective shroud,
Your voice in my heart, clear and loud.
Now, as I walk alone, your absence I mourn,
Wishing for more time, feeling forlorn.
Yet, in every sunrise and each new dawn,
Your spirit whispers, "Carry on."
I dream of a reunion, in time's gentle bend,
Where we'll share stories, our spirits to mend.
Until then, your legacy, I'll tend,
Mother, my guide, my eternal friend.
In this heart of mine, a void now deeply lies,
Missing your presence, under life's vast skies.
Yet, for you, dear mother, I wish tranquil ties,
In a peaceful realm where your spirit flies.
You've earned your place among angels so bright,
For the love and guidance, you've spread like light.
Though today I mourn, in the day and the night,
You remain my star, forever in sight.
Lost is the mother, my life's guiding spark,
But in memories' embrace, we're never apart.
Your love, a beacon, forever to embark,
In the journey of life, you gave me my start.
