As a child, I always loved visiting Uncle Steve and Aunt Darlene when my parents moved from one Army base to another. I remember a time when Uncle Steve picked pumpkin blossoms and Aunt Darlene cooking them. What a wonderful delight!!!! They both always made us feel at home and loved. I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Steve. My heart is heavy knowing your sorrow, but I know he was a believer in Christ and he is comfortably at home. My sincere condolences to the family during this difficult time. Pam Pinkleton (Shook)

I am so so sorry for your loss. In this time all I can do is offer up my prayers, condolences, and sympathies. I pray for you all to find peace and comfort in this sad time. I may have not known him but I do know his daughter(Jenn).if she was any reflection of her dad then he was and is a good man.

I had the pleasure of working with Steve (Gutch) at Oneida #4 Mine. He was a great guy, talented operator and mechanic.
