Obituary of Vicky L. Lambert

Vicky L. Lambert, 64, of Homer City, passed away April 16, 2024, at home.  Born May 30, 1959, in Latrobe, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Lawson) McCurdy.  Also preceded in death by brothers Aurther “Sonny”, Jr. and Robert McCurdy, and nephew Matthew Wier.

Survived by husband William Lambert, two children Forrest McAdoo and fiancé Christie Timko and Elsie (McAdoo) Rouser & husband George; as well as stepchildren. 11 Grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters Barbara Sharp and husband Tim, Brenda Freedline, and Mary Freedline; brothers Ricky and Rodney McCurdy.

Vicky loved to cook and bake.  She brought her family together for many celebrations and holiday meals.  She often could be found sitting at the kitchen table playing Yahtzee with her sisters.  Vicky loved her family immensely and always did what she could to help out.  She was a mother hen to many; she was a strong woman and always fought for what she believed in.  She is loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

At Vicky’s request there will be no public visitation or service.
