Obituary of Millicent Jean Campbell

Millicent “Millie” Jean Campbell, 97, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, peacefully at home on April 21, 2024.  Millie was born on September 18, 1926, in Buffington Township to the late Samuel and Verna (Empfield) Mack.  Also preceded in death by sisters Olive Plowman and Lois Plowman, and brother Sam Mack, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband Bill, spouse of 77 years and sister Evelyn Cable.  Also survived by daughters Gale (Lee) Hess and Pennee (Bill) Young; grandchildren Ryan (Carrie) Young, Jill (Louis) Kitsko, Kelli (Josh) James, and Brent Young; great-grandchildren Braleigh, Brendan and Casen James, Bryce Kitsko, Jennings Young, and Bailee, Bryce, and Reagan Bair.

Millie truly is leaving and legacy that will be forever felt by her loving family.  She loved spending time with family, cooking, attending sporting events, traveling, and her church.

Family and friends received 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday April 24^th at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh and 10:30 am till time of service at noon Thursday April 25^th at Blacklick Christian Church, 1453 Bracken Rd., Vintondale, PA 15961, with Pastor Dave Streets and Pastor Wes Yoder co-officiating.  Private interment Armagh Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Millie’s name may be made to Blacklick Christian Church 1453 Bracken Rd., Vintondale, PA 15961.
