Obituary of Willis Gail Hinton
Willis Gail Hinton, 88, of Indiana, PA, went home to his Lord on September 24, 2024.
Gail was born on June 21, 1936, in Robinson, PA. He was the son of the late Robert Gail and Rosa Frances (Miller) Hinton; survived by his daughters: Debra Gail Matula (late Norbert), Ebensburg, PA; Molly Griffith (Michael), Home, PA; Grandchildren: Charity Gail Reihart, Matthew Matula (Laura), Dustin Griffith (Sarah), Alicia Lorraine Frick (David); Great-grandchildren: Mariah Hutchison (Tanner), Simeon, Louisa, Judah, Charlotte, and Asher Matula; Madison, Kaylee, Gunnar Griffith; (Trey), Jayden, Preston, Chloe, and Bella Frick. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Emma Lorraine (Spencer) Hinton, and sisters Ruby States and Claire Aimes.
Gail graduated from Punxsutawney High School. He retired from Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown, PA.
Gail was a member of F&AM Acacia Lodge #355, where he was Past Master, Blairsville, and Elks Lodge 0406, Blairsville, where he was past Exalted Ruler.
