Obituary of Ginny Lynn Stephens-Silver
Ginny Lynn Stephens-Silver, 72, Penn Run went to be with the Lord October 6, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Born January 4, 1952, in Johnstown the daughter of late Walter C. and Twila J. (Heitzenrater) Rankin. Also preceded in death by husband Edward Silver, sisters Elizabeth Sandoval and Alice Wagner, brother Walter Rankin and infant brother Everett.
Survived by sons Bill Stephens & wife Darleen, Brush Valley, Mike Stephens and wife Breanne, Brush Valley. Grandchildren Christopher (Amy) Stephens, Matthew (Brooke) Stephens, Joshua (girlfriend Laken) Stephens, Erica (Brandon) Shieness, Garrett Stephens, Makenna Eppley. Greatgrandchildren Ashlyn, Evelynn, and Navy. Sisters Phyllis Foreman, Diana (Roy) (Rankin) Rager, Ardyth (Tom) Reed, and brother Richard (Pat) Rankin. Numerous nieces and nephews. Four footed canine companion Penny.
Ginny enjoyed antiquing, garage sales, auctions and working in the yard. She was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church, Indiana and retired LPN from Torrance State Hospital. Most of all she enjoyed spending with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, PA where service will be held 11 am Thursday. Pastor Jack Lucas officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
