My husband, son and I stayed at the Dillweed quite a few years ago. We were the only guests that weekend, so we were doted upon by the warm and welcoming Ms. Gilmore. If I didn't know better, I would have sworn that we were staying with family or visiting with a long lost friend. I don't think Ms.Gilmore ever met a stranger and we are so thankful for the opportunity we had to meet her and to enjoy her wonderful culinary skills. We are so sorry to hear of her passing. Ms. Gilmore will be missed, but fondly remembered.
Sincerely.

I was so sorry to hear this! Cindy and her wonderful establishment was our first introduction to Bed and Breakfasts. She was so welcoming and warm, and we stayed at the Dillweed several times, almost always on our anniversary in February. Cindy would set an anniversary statuette at my breakfast place in the morning, and always made sure my husband had plenty of coffee! She was a bright spot on our special day, and although we have not been able to return to The Dillweed in a long time, we still think fondly of her. Our thoughts and hearts are with her family.

My condolences go out to the family in your time of loss. While it is a sad occasion, that we lose a wonderful woman from this life, I also rejoice that God has called another of his chosen home to be with Him.
Cynthia was a great person, and I'm glad to have known her. At the time she was my Sunday School teacher I was not walking with the Lord, but I'm glad to have been in her class because now being saved I remember a good example of how to live in Christ.
My prayers are now with the rest of the family - may God comfort you and give you strength in the days to come.

I was very sorry to hear of Cindy's passing. I had the great pleasure of getting to know Cindy through her wonderful work with the Dillweed and her long-standing support of the Ghost Town Trail. Cindy was always helpful to me and the rest of our trail crew - we will miss her smile and warm, wonderful personality. On behalf of the staff and employees of Indiana County Parks & Trails we extend our sincere condolences to Corey, Kyra and all of Cindy's family. Cindy will be missed, but never forgotten.

Cindy was a large part of our life when we (Penny & David Russell) lived in Dilltown years ago. She provided us with postal service and then together we created the Dillweed Bed & Breakfast. It was there on August 23rd that we
Celebrated the Life of Penny Russell (died June 03 2014) and now we are Celebrating the Life of Cynthia Gilmore . . .
