Obituary of James Franklin Marsh

Marsh, James F. "Jim", 78, Bolivar passed away suddenly on January 4, 2015 at home. Born February 19, 1936 in Torrance the son of the late Duward and Vivian (Long) Marsh. Also preceded in death by wife Bonnie M. (Buckles) Marsh, brothers Donald and Robert Marsh. Survived by son Peter Gratosky & wife Robin, Largo, FL; granddaughters Jessica Lowden and Heidi Rich; great-grandchildren Bailey, Blake, Xavier and Brody; brothers John Marsh, Blairsville, K. William Marsh and wife Masako, Sacramento, CA, Carl Marsh and wife Linda, Bolivar and Timothy Marsh and wife Sandy, Lemasters; sisters Betty Rothermel, Robesonia and Virgil Coldren, Sinking Springs; also many nieces and nephews. Jim was a member of First Church of Christ, West Bolivar, US Navy Veteran, retiree of Bethlehem Steel who enjoyed feeding birds and gardening. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence. Funeral Service 11AM Thursday at First Church of Christ, West Bolivar, Chris Hopper officiating, internment Fort Palmer Cemetery. Military rite by local veterans organization.
