Obituary of John I Forsythe

John I. Forsythe, 80, Robinson died June 10, 2011 at home. He was born July 6, 1930in Bolivar the son of late John P. and Agnes (Beeler) Forsythe. Also preceded in death by wife Esther Mae Forsythe; grandson Mark Wade Forsythe; sisters Catherine Anderson, Helen Carmichael and Florence Garland. Survived by five sons John L.; Mark and wife Linda (Baird); Ron and wife Cynthia (McClure); Kevin and wife Becky (Critchfield) all of Robinson; Greg and wife Teresa (Antonio), Cramer; 9grandchidren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Boring, Worthington. He was a member of Germany United Methodist Church. He retired from Florence Mining Co. after 44 years in various coal mines. Avid hunter and fisherman. Friends received 3-5 and 6-8 pm Sunday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 am Monday. Rev. R. Kenneth Keiper. Private interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
