Obituary of Ira Leroy "Bing" Boring

Ira "Bing" Boring, 80, Bolivar passed away October 24, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 17, 1934 in Robinson, the son of late Simon Richard and Sara Elizabeth (Wissinger) Boring. Also preceded in death by granddaughter Amanda Burkett, sisters Evelyn and Rita Boring and daughter-in-law Sherry Boring. Survived by wife of 58 years Betty Lou (Penrose) Boring; children Debbie Bell and husband Kenny, Johnstown; Peggy Howard, Bolivar; Janet Payne and husband Chuck, Lockport; Rick Boring, Michigan; Roger Boring, Armagh; Jerry Boring, Bolivar; Tammy Lawrence and husband Edward, Ligonier; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; brother of Col Harry Boring, New Florence; Peggy Pyda, Black Lick; Scottie Boring, Robinson. Bing was a retired employee of Dietrich Industries who enjoyed going to and working various auctions. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
