Obituary of Timothy Keith Burkett

Burkett, Timothy Keith, 48, Bolivar known to many as Hounddog and to family as Sweet Pea, passed March 23, 2016 at UPMC Shadyside. Born July 2, 1967 in Johnstown the son of W. Wayne and Shirley Ann (Baird) Burkett, Bolivar. Also survived by wife Jennifer Burkett and her children David and Savannah; sons Dylan Burkett and wife Karli, New Florence; Noah Burkett, Bolivar; grandchildren Kaylan and Dawsan; sister Kim Gunter and husband Mike, Bolivar; niece and nephew Michael Gunter and Brittany Walker; great-niece and great-nephews Chad and Blake Gunter and Kylee Walker. Preceded in death by son Jacob Paul Burkett and brother Wayne Eric Burkett. Tim attended First Baptist Church in Seward, was a member of Boilermakers Union Local 154, Red Barn Sportsmans Club, Coral-Graceton Sportsmans Club, social member of Bolivar American Legion and Robinson VFW, and a well known josketer. Friends received 2-8 pm Thursday and 9 am till time of service 11 am Friday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, Pastor Rex Lichtenfels officating.
