Obituary of James L. McLaughlin

McLaughlin, James L., 72, Armagh passed away December 21, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born June 3, 1944 in Johnstown the son of late James L. and Geneva (Taylor) McLaughlin. Jim was a retired employee of First Energy Conemaugh Station for over 25 years. He loved spending time with his family, gardening, and spending time on the farm. Jim was a living liver transplant recipient. Survived by wife of 52 years Mary Frances (Kruk) McLaughlin; son Christopher McLaughlin and wife Elaine, Maryland; daughter Karen Rager, Carrolltown; grandchildren Nicole (David Lenhart) and Garret; great-grandchildren Hunter, Christopher, and Abigail; brother Fred (Mary) McLaughlin, Bolivar. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 PM Tuesday at Holy Family Church, 425 Bridge St, Seward. Rev. Robert Washko celebrant. Internment Armagh Cemetery.
