Obituary of Terry Wayne Howard

Howard, Terry Wayne 62, of Rancho Cordova, CA, died on July 7, 2017 after a long battle with brain cancer. Born September 12, 1954, the son of David Wayne and Louella Jane Howard in Fort Sill, OK. Preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife, Joy and son Tyler of Rancho Cordova, and step-son Gary Crispell and wife Fanny of Pass Christian, MS; grandchildren Kara, Andrea and Bruce; mother Jane of Bolivar, Pa; and brothers; Donald and wife Terri of Ligonier, Pa, David and wife Tracy of New Florence, Pa, Michael and wife Verley of Aspen, Co., and Timothy and wife Roz of York, Pa. along with numerous nieces and nephews. Terry spent his formative years in Bolivar and graduated from Laurel Valley High School class of 1972. He attended Colorado School of Mines earning a degree in Mining Engineering in 1983. Terry worked for 25 years doing what he loved, managing stone crushing operations throughout the US. Terry was a devoted husband and a loving father. He married Joy Leanne Crispell in 1993 in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Together they raised two boys, Gary Paul Crispell and Tyler Wayne Howard. In his spare time, Terry loved riding his motorcycle and traveled from coast to coast seeing the country up close. He felt a vacation was in the journey … not the destination. A memorial service will be held at First Church of Christ in Bolivar, Pa. A date has not yet been determined.
