Obituary of Betty Ann Patterson

Betty Ann Patterson, 62, New Florence went to be with the Lord August 10, 2017 at home. Born March 15, 1955 in Johnstown the daughter of late Jesse and Viola (Rose) Boring. Survived by husband of 41 years Richard Patterson; daughters Dana Zayachak, Indiana; and Jessica Patterson, Alverda; grandchildren Alycia and Matthew Zayachak, and Amara Hemphill; siblings, Mildred Vivian, Florida; Kenneth Boring, Ohio; Helen Shirley, Heshbon; Sarah Allison, Armagh; Ronald Boring, New Florence; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition, to parents also preceded in death by brothers Melvin, Charles, Russell, and Robert Boring and sister Grace Sullivan. Betty Ann was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church where she enjoyed volunteering for church dinners and Vacation Bible School. She also enjoyed crafting, shopping, planting flowers and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Private service will be Monday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, Chaplain Tom Spiker, officiating. Internment McDowell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Betty Ann's name to a charity of one's choice.
