Obituary of Wilma Jean Tomb

Wilma Jean Tomb, 93, Clyde, went to be with the Lord with her beloved husband of 70 years at her side October 26, 2017 at home. Born April 20, 1924 in Seward the daughter of the late Harry C. and Iva (Westover) Hollingsworth. Also preceded in death by sisters Betty Lou Griffith; Iva G. Hollingsworth; brother Gordon Hollingsworth. Survived by husband Wayne Tomb; children Gordon Tom and wife Billye, Annville; Lynn Tomb, Lilly; David Tomb and wife Bonnie, Clyde; Nancy Hewitt and husband Alton "Butch", Clyde; grandchildren Matthew Tomb, Tara Marvel, Shannon Carbaugh, Wendy Penrose, Stephen Tomb and Patrick Hewitt; great-grandchildren Kate Marvel, Brent and Madison Penrose, Allison and Ben Tomb and Sophia Carbaugh; daughters-in-law Linda Tomb and Joanne Tomb; brother Robert Hollingsworth, Rockville, MD; several nieces and nephews. She retired in 1984 form the position of Psychiatric Nurse/Instructor at Torrance State Hospital. Also, a member of Faith Lutheran Church, avid reader and enjoyed the Sunday paper crossword puzzle. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, and 10 am till time of service at 11 AM, Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, 6810 Route 22 Highway East, New Florence, PA 15944. Pastor Ryan Kobert, officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
