Obituary of Alex S. Berezansky

Berezansky, Alex S., 96, Brush Valley Twp., passed away September 4, 2018 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born May 10, 1922 in Gahagen, the son of the late Alex and Nellie (Solanish) Berezansky.  Also preceded in death by wife Anne (Prinz) Berezansky; children Barbara (Thomas) Seefried; George Thomas; brothers John, George, Lou, Mike and Peter Berezansky; sisters Ann Berezansky and Mary Hurley.  Survived by daughter Linda Staffen and husband Richard, Indiana; grandchildren Carol Spector, Jerome Seefried, Kevin Thomas, Karen France, Henry Kukula, Jr., and David Kukula; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great- great-grandchildren; sister Eva Hill and brothers Frank, Paul and Nick Berezansky, all of Seward; special companion Cecilia Kearns.  Alex enjoyed fishing and hunting, was an inventor and skilled machinist, US Army Air Force veteran of WWII and member of Holy Family Catholic Church who took great joy in his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Friends received 4 to 8 pm Friday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia Street, Armagh.  Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Saturday, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Bridge St, Seward.  Interment Armagh Cemetery.  Military rite by Blairsville Service group.
