Obituary of Ethyl Rudnik
Ethyl Rudnik, age 88, of North Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Gas Center, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, FL. Born March 8, 1930 in Heshbon, the daughter of the late Stanley and Louise A. (Harnett) Cherry. Ethyl was the last surviving member of her immediate family, preceded in death by brothers Stanley Cherry, Jr. and William Cherry; sisters Helen Bernini, Minnie Jones, Florence Kuhar and June Muesegaes.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Clifford Rudnik, North Fort Myers, FL; and children Terry Rudnik and wife Sharon, NC; Rickey Rudnik and wife Georgia, Seward; Timothy Rudnik, Kittanning; Mark Rudnik and wife Carla, FL. Grandchildren Marlene Hughes, Pittsburgh; Renee Popovich, WI; Diane Stiles and husband Gary, Seward; Lori Pollino and husband Kevin, Seward; Misty Thompson, NC; Terry Rudnik, Jr., WV; Ryan Rudnik and Emily Petrowsky, Cramer; Kristy Dunaway and husband Joey, FL. 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. Ethyl was a retired hairdresser and a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, shopping and dining out.
Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday at Blacklick Community United Methodist Church, 1488 Bracken Road, Vintondale. Rev. Thomas Phillips officiating. Interment Penn View – Mount Tabor Cemetery.
