Obituary of Sally Wisner
Sally Wisner, 83, Bolivar join her husband with the Lord on February 3, 2019 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born August 1, 1935 in Beaverdale the daughter of the late Harry John Updyke and Hubertine (Burkhard) Updyke-Duray. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband Robert H. Wisner, Sr.; son Glenn E. Wisner, grandson Chad E. Wisner; son-in-law James Luther. Brothers Richard Burkhard; David Updyke; Robert Updyke; Harry John Updyke; George Duray. Step-father George R. Duray.
Survived by children Robert H. Wisner, Jr., New Florence; Sheila J. Boring, Seward; Debra E Luther, Greensburg; 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; sisters Emily McDaniel and Donna Harnett.
Sally loved the Lord and was a member of Alliance Church, Ligonier and enjoyed spending time with her strong church family. She loved her entire family and spending time with her children and all the generations of grandchildren. When Sally is not spending time with her church family or own family, she enjoys spending her time doing crossword puzzles, baking and camping. Her and Robert were members of the National Campers and Hikers Assoc., Fort Ligonier Chapter for numerous years.
Family and friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence. Funeral Service 11 am Thursday at Alliance Church Rt. 711 Ligonier, Rev. Larry C. McDonnell officiating, internment Fort Palmer Cemetery.
