Obituary of Naomi Jean Wallace

Naomi Jean Wallace, 87, of New Florence, went to be with the Lord, September 25, 2019 at Westmont Woods . Naomi was born April 24, 1932 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Wilbur G. and Estella (Beautman) Miller Also preceded in death by husband Samuel D. Wallace; great-granddaughter Freya Jean Weir; sisters Frances Weible, Mildred Stahl, and Hazel Weible; brothers Alton, Allen, James and Samuel Miller;  infant sisters Betty and Virginia Miller.

Survived by loving children Shirley Hastings and husband Gary; Barb Stokes and husband Rob; Rob Wallace and wife Cindy, all of New Florence; grandchildren Allison (Hastings) Weir and husband Stephen, Greg Hastings and wife Alicia, Cullen Stokes and wife Brandy, all of New Florence; Tyler Stokes and wife Lindsay, Indiana; Chelsea (Wallace) Adrian and husband Aaron, Cranberry Twp.; and Chase Wallace and wife Molly, New Florence; great-grandchildren Kaz Stokes, Sawyer, Isla and Gemma Weir, Vaida Hastings, Lochlan Whited, Macklin Stokes, Lydia Wallace,  and Henry Adrian; sister Connie Carney, New Florence.

Naomi was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, New Florence where she was active in the chior, women’s circle and numerous other activities.  She worked hard on their family farm and deeply loved her grandchildren.  Also she was a good baker and candy maker who enjoyed staying in touch with her family and friends by talking to them on the telephone and going shopping.

Friends received 3-7 PM Thursday at Kenneth A.. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence.  Funeral Service 11 AM Friday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5th and Chestnut Streets, New Florence. Rev. Anthony Catullo officiating. Interment Bethel Cemetery.
